Attractions in Naples
Caribbean Gardens
Spread over 52 acres, Caribbean Gardens is the jungle-like home of various exotic animals including Bengal tigers, zebras, panthers and some huge snakes. You can see all these and observe monkeys and apes living freely in an island habitat. There's also a petting zoo and daily animal presentations. All activities are included in the admission price.
Clam Pass County Park
Clam Pass County Park has a 1.2km (0.75mi) boardwalk through mangrove forest that leads out to a white powdery sand beach. There's a free electric tram from the parking lot, lifeguards watching the tide and an observation tower.
Naples Nature Center
The environmental nonprofit Conservancy of Southwest Florida runs great nature centres, including this one. It has a museum of natural history, a wildlife rehabilitation centre, a 11400 litre (3000-gallon) marine aquarium, trails and an aviary with bald eagles. The adventurous can rent a canoe or kayak.
