Piazza del Plebiscito Art Exhibition- Michelangelo Pistoletto

Every Christmas, the Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples becomes an open-air art gallery. In 2007 the focus is on Michelangelo Pistoletto, one of the greatest exponents of the arte povera. An exhibition at MADRE complements the main event.

Expanding on the 2002 project "Love Difference", for which Pistoletto created a massive table in the shape of the Mediterranean basin, the artist reproduces the silhouette of the countries facing the European sea, giving the piazza a complete new look.

Directions From Capodichino airport catch bus n.3S to Stazione Centrale in Piazza Garibaldi (buses run every 15 minutes). From here take the metro Linea 2 and get off at Cavour stop.
